Yas Waterworld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, is a mega waterpark in the United Arab Emirates. The theme park is over 37 acres and has over 40 water slides and attractions. It is located in central Yas Island, near Yas Mall and the rest of the Island’s world-class theme parks: Ferrari World, Warner Bros. World™, and SeaWorld™ Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
Yas Waterworld is a fantastic destination for families, with a good collection of rides for kids. Here are some of Yas Waterworld’s attractions that are suitable for children 120 centimeters (4 feet) tall or under:
- Yehal
Yehal is a water slide made especially for young children. It has a paddling pool, three low-incline water slides and a dumping bucket. Tiny tots can have a whole day of fun playing here.
- Cannon Point
Cannon Point is an attraction for the whole family. Form two teams and bombard your opponents using water cannons. The Bandit Bomber adds to the fun. As the rollercoaster zooms past, spray the riders with water and evade their return fire.
- Al Raha River
How about some lazy river fun? The Al Raha River ride is a good stop if you or your children want some respite from the park’s high-adrenaline slides.
The 300-meter Al Raha Creek snakes through and around the park. You and your child will get on a round tube and let the river’s gentle current carry you on a soothing ride through rain showers, caves, and waterfalls.
- Bandit Bomber
Bandit Bomber is a high-speed, relatively low-flying suspended rollercoaster that will take you past Yas Waterworld’s caverns. The twists, the turns, and the dips add to the exhilaration as they make it seem like your feet are about to hit the park’s fixtures.
Get your water guns ready when you fly over Cannon Point. The children there will have water cannons aimed at you.

- Sebag
It’s time for a race. Every family member can take one of the six lanes and lie prone, head-first, on a slide board. At the green light, everyone propels themselves down their slide. The first one to reach the end of the line wins.

- Rush Rider
If your family loves to surf and want your children to learn the same sport, visit Rush Rider, a bodyboarding attraction for beginners. The ride instructors will teach your children the fundamentals of bodyboarding and demonstrate the techniques they can use to stay balanced on the board, maneuver on the waves, and remain aloft and afloat.
Riders will start from a prone position. As they become more comfortable, they can try kneeling and keep progressing until they can surf upright.

- Falcons Falaj
Falcons Falaj is the world’s longest six-seater water coaster slide. You and your family will sit on a six-person round tube. That will get launched from the top of the mountain and drop onto a 300-meter twisting, turning, and dipping slide in one breathtaking trip that will have you at the edge of your seats.

- Cinesplash
Cinesplash is a 5D cinematic attraction. You will wear 3D glasses and go on a virtual adventure through waterfalls and water explosions. To help immerse you in the action, your chair will move, water will spray your face and body, and the cinema will fill with water up to your knees.

- Slithers Slides
Slither’s Slides is a six-chute water slide. You can go alone or with someone, so it’s perfect if you want to get on the slide with your child. Once inside your chosen flute, you will zoom past a water curtain and ride into the serpent’s belly, your path through the serpentine body guided only by tiny lights until you exit through the serpent’s mouth and into a waiting pool below.

- Liwa Loop
Liwa Loop is a freefall drop waterslide, the first of its kind in the region. It is one of the most popular high-adrenaline slides at Yas Waterworld.
You will begin your adventure from a single-person capsule. You’ll stand upright, your body straight, with your head back, chin tucked in, arms crossed on your chest, and feet also crossed and pointed.
Once you’re ready, the operator will start the sequence, and a countdown will begin. At count zero, the floor will give way, plunging you down a transparent but closed tube and onto a highly intense looping ride to the bottom. From launch to the bottom, your ride will take only several seconds.

- Jebel Drop
Jebel Slide is the tallest speed slide in the Middle East. Keep your body as straight as possible—arms crossed in front of your chest, feet crossed and pointed, chin tucked in, and head back—as you propel yourself 10 stories down one of Yas Waterworld’s steepest slides.
